"Grass Valley" Area
Washington County, Utah

The Grass Valley area of Washington County is located north of the town of Pine Valley and south of Pinto. Umpstead Rencher established a dairy there as well as cattle and sheep operations. There were other settlers that pioneered in the area also. There is a nice mountain spring which was walled in and is still in use. The Rencher family still owns a place in this peaceful, high mountain valley.
